Learning

North Down Museum offers a variety of learning activities for schools and visitors. Our schools programme covers various topics that tie in with the curriculum and are available to book throughout the school year, as well as other services which are available on request and we are also occasionally available to come to schools in the North Down area to deliver sessions on site.

Handling boxes are available for schools to borrow (subject to availability). Topics that the boxes currently cover include World War II, the Victorian era, the 1950s and Bangor Photographs; keep an eye on the North Down Museum website for details of new additions.

We also have classes for adults and special events at particular times of the year for children and families.

For more information on any of these, please contact Heather Curran, Education Officer on heather.curran@ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk or via the Town Hall switchboard on 028 9127 0371, ext. 40313
