Christmas Craft Market

Neill’s teddies will be back at North Down Museum to celebrate a fun filled weekend with the return of the popular Christmas market on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November.
The market will offer a great range of festive gifts including jewellery, bags, cards and candles. Why not bring the family along, browse the stalls and take advantage of this unique shopping experience.  Santa may even make an appearance so it promises to be a fun day out.
Coffee Cure at the Museum will be open for coffees and lunch so you can make a day of it.
While you are there pop into the museum and see the collection of Neill’s bears which will be on display. These bears were once displayed in the Window of Robert Neill and Sons Ltd and have been generously donated to the museum.  Museum Manager Heather McGuicken said ‘The Christmas Market has proved popular in the past and I hope that people will take the opportunity to come and see what local artists and craftspeople have to offer.  The market will be a great day out for the family, not only with the unique gifts for sale but the added bonus of Castle Park and the museum to enjoy.  We are also delighted to have Neill’s teddies back on display.  Their history is an important part of Bangor and we are delighted to share that with the public.’
The market will be open on Saturday between 10am-4.30pm and on Sunday between 12noon – 4.30pm.
