Our Friendship is There to be Celebrated...exploring the Sir John Newell Jordan Collection

As part of the Council’s PEACE IV: Celebration of our Minority Communities programme, The Nerve Centre and North Down Museum have partnered in a unique creative community project to celebrate the borough’s cultural diversity.  Since September 2018 individuals from the local community have been using the Sir John Newell Jordan collection, which includes many significant Chinese, Korean and Japanese artefacts, to engage in cross-cultural dialogue, research and creative exchange.

This exhibition highlights the groups creative output, inspired by the collection. Techniques include painting, drawing, 3D scanning, 3D printing, laser etching and vinyl cutting.
